Whenever it occurs to me that I may not be in quite the tip top conditioning that an upcoming event will require, you know what I do? TRAIN HARDER!
I don’t go out and buy a book or subscribe to some new routine that tells me what I already know, as do you. And that’s that you’re not working hard enough. Simplify everything and push harder with what you’re already doing. This is not rocket science. If you’re not where you want to be, your routine doesn’t suck. Your work ethic does.
