This weekend’s Bloomer Park Endurance Workout is on Sunday, signmeup says Saturday. I need a verbal commitment from those planning to be there. Don’t know what it is? We’ll be doing a 90 minute (give or take) outdoor workout at the park. We’ll use the trails, hills, stairs, downed trees, tot lots… etc. It’s for everyone and it’s an amazing place to train. We try to do these training days every month or so to raise money for our charity partner, www.gloves-on.com. Cost for the workout is $15 and goes to help support that cause. But, if you don’t commit via email, you won’t be training. Let me know by sometime tomorrow. Meet at the Stone Shelter – workout will begin at 9 SHARP. If you’ve wondered what one of our bump & run trail series events is like, this is a good way to get a basic idea. Some trail running, some exercise stations. No water jumps, I promise.
Side note and well wishes… Dan, Stef, Brennan who are currently on a plane to Georgia to run a 50k in the mountains only to turn around a fly back immediately following the race. I hope you meet your goal times, otherwise you’re there for another two days. Good luck peeps, you guys rock. Dan, enjoy your double date…
