Muddy Watters Trail Series #1 Notes
– What can I say other than congrats to all you badasses that finished a pretty brutal course. Welcome to our “Warrior Dashers” and “Spartans”. I’m glad I was able to give you something that’ll now make your future races easy.
– Back ordered shirts will take about 10 days to get here. Watch for an email from me.
– Race results, recap and some photos will be posted on our facebook page later this week. Join it! Also, click to follow my blog at jeffwatters.wordpress.com for race discounts to future events.
– Those that raced this past weekend can register for the next race for $20. Registration will open tonight and run through Thursday. After that, normal fees will kick back in.
– Lastly, we get asked about how best to train for one of these adventure runs. Considering we came up with the term, and it stemmed from Motor City Bootcamp workout that we were doing at Bloomer, I’d imagine Motor City Bootcamp would be the best way to train for it. The best news about that? Any of you that participated yesterday can come train with us at no cost for 2 weeks. Anything on the schedule will be made available to you. I just need a heads up. Our Men’s and Women’s running groups are always free. We suggest a $10 donation that goes to our charity partner, gloves-on.com. But it’s not mandatory.
